Starting in 1984 when he starred in Rob Reiner?s This is Spinal Tap, Christopher Guest has made a career of sharp-witted faux comic documentaries in which he lampoons the self-importance of an amusing gallery of characters. Here he focuses on the folk music community of the 1960s as they are brought together for a tribute concert in New York?s Town Hall after many years out of the limelight. The comedy stars Guest, Eugene Levy, Harry Shear, Catherine O?Hare and Bob Balaban.
A gift from comedy heaven. --Peter Travis, Rolling Stones
