Pirate Radio is a high-spirited comedy about the love of Rock ?n Roll. Blasted from a ship on international waters towards the British Isles where rock has been banned, the rebels DJs are lead by The Count, played by Academy Award Winner Philip Seymour Hoffman. The film features a wonderful selection of music including The Beatles, The Stones, Beach Boys, Dusty Springfield, The Who, Jimi Hendrix, Smokey Robinson, David Bowie, Otis Redding and Cat Stevens just to name a few. The film is laugh-out- loud funny and speaks to the rock ?n roll rebel in all of us.
A rip-roaring comedy. - Rolling Stone
